Iolo Williams at the top of the Blorenge
2nd May 2012
Er gwaetha'r tywydd gwael ar y 19eg o Ebrill, troiodd tua 70 o bobl lan i fynd ar y daith gerdded yng nghwmni Iolo Williams. Dechreuon ni am ddeg o'r gloch o Bwll Pen Ffordd Goch (Keepers Pond) a cherddon ni i dop y Blorenge a nôl. Taith 3 awr oedd hi ond un ddiddorol iawn! Roedd Iolo mor gyfeillgar ac yn wych gyda'r dysgwyr, yn siarad am y planhigion ac yn ateb eu cwestiynau wrth i ni gerdded. Roedd y golygfeydd yn anhygoel ac roedd yn braf gweld nifer o blant ar y daith hefyd. Ro'n nhw wrth eu boddau yn cerdded drwy'r holl fwd yn ei "wellies"!!!!
Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb oedd ar y daith ac am gefnogi'r digwyddiad hwn. Dyn ni wedi cael llawer o adborth da am y daith sy'n wych. Dyn ni i gyd yn edrych ymlaen at y tro nesa nawr!
Despite the bad weather on the 19th of April, about 70 people turned up to go on the walk with Iolo Williams. We started at ten o'clock and we walked to the top of Blorenge and back. The tour was for 3 hours but it was very interesting! Iolo was so friendly and great with the learners, talking about the plants and answering their questions as we walked. The scenery was incredible and it was great to see so many children on the trip also. They loved walking through all the mud in their "wellies"!!
Many thanks to everyone on the tour and for supporting this event. We've had a lot of good feedback about the trip which is great. We're all looking forward to next time now!
