Welcome

The Centre was established in 2006 through the Welsh Assembly Government’s initiative to create 6 regional centres across Wales to plan and develop high quality Welsh for Adults provision.

Coleg Gwent Welsh for Adults Centre is now responsible for all the Welsh for Adults provision in the region.

I’d like to warmly welcome our present partners into the Centre, the 5 Unitary Authorities: Blaenau Gwent, Caerffili, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen and in addition our new partner: Ystrad Mynach College. We look forward to working successfully together for the benefit of all Welsh learners in Gwent and that we can offer a comprehensive range of courses which will appeal to learners of all levels – either those wishing to improve their Welsh or those who wish to start learning Welsh.
